Colter & Peterson Quotes Most Valuable Perfect Binder Line

Company serves as exclusive North American distributor for Wohlenberg.

Paterson, NJ (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- Colter & Peterson, in conjunction with Wohlenberg Buchnindsysteme Gmbh, Verden, announced that together they have quoted the most valuable perfect binder line ever quoted in North America by Wohlenberg.

According to Tom Welby, Vice President of Perfect Binder Products for Colter & Peterson, the company's showing at the recently concluded Drupa 2008 was its best ever.

"Wohlenberg, through Colter & Peterson, has been experiencing a tremendous rise in sales over the past several years," says Welby. "This is based on aggressiveness in the market, competitive pricing and ourproprietary features. We enjoyed a tremendous turnout at Drupa and many sales are expected as a result."

Attention focused at Drupa on Wohlenberg's product line that consists of the new Master 8000, the new Streamer gathering line with card gluing systems, electrostatic blocking for web signatures and card placement, cameras with bar code readers, the new City e series and the very unique Quickbinder.

Also turning heads at the world's top trade fair for the print and media industry were Wohlenberg's VSS face trim system, KRF cover folder feeder and trim-tec 90e three-knife trimmer. The trim-tec 90-e is capable of producing over 15,000 perfect bound specialty books (in piles) per hour.

Interest at the event was very high among U.S. visitors on all production line perfect binders, from the 2,000 per hour Quickbinder to the 8,000 per hour Champion model.

"The automation and quick set-up of Wohlenberg equipment entices buyers due to the reduction of costly set-up times," says Welby.
