Mike Parsons, President and CEO of First Source Federal Credit Union was recently elected Treasurer of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU). His term will begin at the conclusion of NAFCU's annual business meeting in San Diego, California on July 10th.
Parsons was elected by the NAFCU Board in a recent voting at America's Credit Union Museum, located in Manchester, N.H., at the site of the country's first credit union. Credit union leaders from around the country were present to dedicate NAFCU's exhibit at the museum and to kick off the credit union industry's centennial anniversary celebration.
"Now more than ever, I am proud to be part of this great movement that, for the last 100 years, has afforded Members better rates on loans and savings accounts, lower fees and higher levels of service," said Parsons. "In my new role as part of NAFCU's Executive Committee, I look forward to continuing to work with this outstanding team of Board Members as we guide this exceptional association in serving federal credit unions and their Members across the nation."
In addition to serving as Treasurer for the NAFCU Board, Parsons also serves as Region One Director. His service at NAFCU includes serving on NAFCU Services Corporation and the NAFCU Political Action Committee.
