Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) June 26, 2008 -- HyperLink Technologies is pleased to announce twelve new "OEM" Wi-Fi amplifiers to is current RF amplifier line. These new models are ideal for OEM type applications.
Wi-Fi Amplifier Module
The HA2401GM series is designed for integration into products such as Access Points and other Wi-Fi equipment. The HA2401GM features the same performance as our full sized amplifiers but in a compact "OEM" module. Measuring only 3.8" x 2.9", the HA2401GM feature low profile SMA-Female connectors which help reduce the foot print of amplifier. The amplifier uses thru-hole RF connectors for improved reliability over fragile surface mount connectors. The aluminum mounting plate adds to the rigidity of the PCB as well as acting as a heat sink. These amplifiers are compatible with 802.11b and 802.11b/g applications and are available in 100 mW, 250 mW, 500 mW and 1 Watt models.
Optional Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) Module with Integral Surge Protection
For applications requiring PoE, the optional BT-CAT5-M1 PoE Regulator Module can be used with the HA2401GM amplifier. This module allows the amplifier to receive its power by the same CAT5 cable used to pass Data and Power to an additional PoE device. This eliminates the need for an additional DC Injector and coax cable, simplifying installation. The BT-CAT5-M1 simply plugs into the DC power jack on the amplifier.
802.11b/g and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi OEM Amplifier with Low Profile SMA Connectors
HyperLink's HA2401SFGI series amplifiers feature low profile SMA-Female connectors. This helps reduce the overall height of the amplifier, making it ideal for installations with limited space. These amplifiers feature cast aluminum construction and are available in 100 mW, 250 mW, 500 mW and 1 Watt models.
For Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) applications there is the HA2401SFGE series amplifiers. Like the HA2401SFGI amplifiers, this series also feature the low profile SMA-Female connectors. In addition, the HA2401SFGE series amplifiers feature a integral PoE interface. This allows the amplifier to receive its power by the same CAT5 cable used to pass Data and Power to products such as Access Points with PoE capability.
