Fast-growing global services firm hires well-known industry executive as vice president.
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- Mission Essential Personnel, LLC today announced Chris Taylor as the company's new Vice President for Global Initiatives.
Chris is a recent graduate of Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government where he studied international security and political economy and earned a Master of Public Administration degree. He was also the Director of the Harvard Defense and Security Initiative and a member of the Harvard Defense Leadership Project. Prior to that, he was the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Blackwater Worldwide.

Taylor spent 14 years in the US Marine Corps as an enlisted infantryman and Force Recon Marine. He frequently speaks at professional forums on private sector contributions to national and international security, and humanitarian and stabilization operations. He has appeared on MSNBC and CNN offering commentary on global security challenges. Chris is the founding Chairman of the International Peace Operations Association and a member of the World Affairs Council and Business Executives for National Security. He earned his MBA from the College of William & Mary and has attended Harvard University's Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security.
