Two distinguished multimedia producers join forces to provide new solutions for the emerging world of viral marketing and product videos for the web.

A company's website is their identity and it is available to consumers and potential clients 24/7. In order to truly exhibit this identity, any company with website needs to have a video presence on the web.

Video producers Joseph Nilo and Chuck Heilig have recognized that traditional video production is becoming a thing of the past. "Dwindling are the days of six-figure budgets in the corporate video space," said Joseph Nilo. "We're witnessing a revolution in online video content, which opens up so many doors for online content producers." Nilo and Heilig have merged their successful production companies to form HiLo Media. This new company specializes in the creation of affordable web marketing videos with impact often without ever shooting any video.

"Marketing executives for companies everywhere are hearing all the buzzwords - 'podcast', 'viral video', 'web 2.0', 'social networking', and are wondering how they can market their products and services using these new technologies," said Heilig. "A company's website is their identity and it is available to consumers and potential clients 24/7. In order to truly exhibit this identity, any company with website needs to have a video presence on the web."

Nilo and Heilig first collaborated while working as video editors at a major production company in Asheville, North Carolina. Together they were pioneers in new media, creating one of the first video podcasts ever. "We were amazed by the power of viral content and saw how it had the potential to reach thousands of people around the world", said Nilo.

After establishing their own production companies, they teamed up on video projects for digital lifestyle outfitters and electronics giant Philips USA. "I was thrilled to create dynamic product videos for these great companies," said Heilig. "We were able to do it very quickly, on small budgets, and, in most cases, without ever shooting any actual video." To do this, Heilig and Nilo often utilize the client's existing product shots and marketing materials to create product videos, software and website tours, and training materials. The videos are then placed on the companies' websites and distributed virally across the internet.
