International Academy of Hair & Aesthetics Offers Patriotic Beauty
Mothers and spouses of soldiers serving in Iraq will receive free services for facials, pedicures, manicures, hair cuts and make up from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on July 2nd and 3rd at the International Academy of Hair & Aesthetics, 4812 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe.
Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) June 28, 2008 -- Mothers and spouses of soldiers serving in Iraq will receive free services for facials, pedicures, manicures, hair cuts and make up from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. on July 2nd and 3rd at the International Academy of Hair & Aesthetics, 4812 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe.
To participate in the career college's Patriotic Beauty campaign, patrons must show military I.D. or some sort of physical proof such as an email, letter or photograph to prove their spouse or son or daughter is serving in Iraq. It is recommended that patrons requesting free services call 480-964-8675 for further information.
In addition to their Patriotic Beauty campaign, the school is also celebrating the nation's birthday with a flag competition. Students from both the Aesthetics and Cosmetology program will be displaying their patriotism by creating their own flags, or decorating items with Old Glory.
"We really wanted to do something special to honor those who support our troops," said Jessica Wolman, one of the owners of International Academy of Hair & Aesthetics. "It's our way of saying thank you in a very special way."
