Tactical Products Group awarded $15,000 sling contract for US Army 10th Special Forces Group

Tactical Products Group, or TPG, announced today that the company was awarded a sling contract for the US Army. The award was received from Fort Carson, Colorado which is home to the US Army 10th Special Forces Group.

The initial order is for 500 single point slings for a total cost of $15,450. The company expects that the sling will be well received by the Army, resulting in follow-up orders for much larger quantities.

"We are very pleased to be working with the Army on this requirement," stated company President Dan Lounsbury. "Our first major contract with the DoD was also for slings, which we delivered to the US Army in Mosul, Iraq back in 2006...so we are very happy to continue supporting the brave men and women of our military," added Lounsbury.
