Josh Leibsly, a fifteen year old entrepreneur, has created a new service which allows anybody to have their letter hand delivered to the congressman or congresswoman of their choice. The intuitive website IHandDeliver.com allows the user to select the congressman of their choice, enter the text of their letter, and then press "Send." Josh will put the letter into the correct format, hand deliver it to the congressional office, and obtain a signed proof of delivery receipt to be returned to the customer.
The easy-to-navigate website starts at a simple homepage. This homepage tells you about the service offered and the steps necessary to have a letter hand delivered to Congress. The next step in the process is filling out a form that asks you to select your congressman or congresswoman, fill in your name and email, and write your letter. Once finished, you simply click "Send." You are then redirected to a page that asks you to pay the $7.95 and informs you that your letter will soon be formatted and sent back to you for your approval. Once you have approved the letter, Josh will hand deliver your letter to the office of the congressman or congresswoman and receive a proof of delivery receipt. When he returns from the office, he scans in the proof of delivery and emails it to you. The website is very organized, making for an easy to use interface.
This new service is very useful because it allows for a very fast delivery to congressional offices and it shows the congressman that their constituents care very much about different issues because they had their letters hand delivered right to the offices on Capitol Hill.
