Under the agreement, AIRTIME-Manager's flagship product, AIRTIME for Professionals (A4P), becomes Thomson Elite's preferred time management solution for BlackBerry® smartphones.
Using A4P, Elite clients can accurately record billable time spent on their smartphones. Billable time spent on calls and emails is automatically recorded and intelligently matched with the billing matter. Users also can enter time manually as well as capture time via a stopwatch. A4P is tightly integrated with Elite practice management systems such as Elite Webview®, Elite Enterprise® and ProLaw®. Recently used billing matters for each timekeeper are automatically synced with their wireless devices while captured time is sent back to the practice management system.
Elite's A4P users have been shown to capture 2-3 "billable wireless hours" each month. Case studies from two firms are to be showcased at the 2008 Elite User Conference, held in Hollywood, FL, June 23-25. These case studies will also be posted on Research in Motion's BlackBerry website.
