DP Solutions First Annual "IT Play Day & BBQ" Attracts Over 200 Members of the Local Business Community

The May 15 technology event held in Columbia, Maryland featured the latest in cutting-edge technology solutions from several leading vendors.

Columbia, MD (PRWEB) June 2, 2008 -- On May 15, DP Solutions hosted its first annual technology open house showcasing the latest technology solutions from ten leading I.T. vendors. Over 200 people attended the event, including representatives from area businesses, as well as Maryland State Senator James Robey and Maryland State Delegates Elizabeth Bobo & Guy Guzzone.

Many attendees described this event as a relaxed, fun atmosphere where they were provided with information on the latest technology solutions to help their businesses grow. Rachel Irish of Palmer Brothers Painting and General Contracting, Inc. described the show as, "A great opportunity to get an overview of several technologies at one time."

This event featured exhibits and demonstrations from Double-Take Software, EVault, IBM, Infor, NEC, Quadrant Software, RMS Omega, Toshiba, Virtual Iron and Xerox. Supporting partners included Rise Vision and Ergotron.

Among many of latest technology solutions that were on display, attendees got to play with Toshiba's newest touch screen Tablet PC, learn about the revolutionary and environmentally-friendly solid ink from Xerox and experience the benefits of IBM's cutting edge Blade Servers.

Tours of DP Solutions' state-of-the-art data center, an outdoor BBQ smoke pit, contests and raffle drawings rounded out the day's activities.
