Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance answered the healthcare industry’s rising fuel costs by implementing services to align safe air medical transportation with overall cost savings to hospitals, insurance companies, and private payers with the “One Touch Promise”.

Recent news stories have revealed that some air medical companies have attempted to overcome the rising costs of petroleum products by providing substandard services. Such instances of poor air ambulance service have been documented by the Federal Aviation Association and include: not performing timely aircraft inspections, not maintaining appropriate medical equipment with up to date technology, reduced or no medical crew training upon employment, and engaging pilots with fewer flight hours of experience.

Angel MedFlight’s "One Touch Promise" was created to combat substandard service and to assist those in need of safe air medical transportation without sacrificing quality while providing affordable healthcare services. Angel MedFlight maintains a fleet of strategically positioned and dedicated air ambulance aircraft throughout the United States. This fleet provides Angel MedFlight with greater autonomy than any other air ambulance provider as flights remaining vacant are minimized considerably, and as a result, cost savings are then passed onto the client.

"Our ‘One Touch Promise’ encompasses all those healthcare concerns family members may have when needing to transport a loved one," states Kristin Weivoda, Chief Operations Officer. "It is a system where our medically trained Flight Coordinators act as a patient advocate. Our staff will make every arrangement for the family while keeping them personally involved. Our overall goal is for the family to spend time with each other in this critical period, not to worry about transportation arrangements."

Angel MedFlight is the only medical transport company in the country that will arrange ground transportation in conjunction with air travel, thus relieving another healthcare burden from the patient’s family. Coordination with the receiving hospitals and physicians is also handled by Angel MedFlight. During the transport, a minimum of two highly-trained medical professionals are at the patient’s side at all times, ensuring an excellent level of care.

In the coming months Angel MedFlight plans to roll out an additional operating model that will add tremendous benefit to hospitals, insurance companies, and private parties.

"Angel MedFlight is always seeking prevailing situations that will assist hospitals, insurance companies, or private paying patients reduce their overall expenditures associated with an air ambulance transport, however, we will never compromise a patient or a family’s safety," states Jeremy Freer, Chief Executive Officer.
