SourceIQ today announced its support for and integration with IBM Rational Team Concert and the Jazz technology platform, introducing new software that will help managers and executives gain greater transparency and governance in collaborative and distributed software teams and projects.

"The SourceIQ Enterprise Server delivers solutions to today's software development managers and teams in the areas of lean governance, activity-based project management, project health checks, and transformational processes," said Roger Dunn, CEO of SourceIQ. "IBM Rational Team Concert brings together a number of key change management disciplines, such as change sets and work items, in a way that enables greater team agility and alignment with dynamic business requirements. This creates a superior platform relative to more traditional change management solutions for SourceIQ's delivery of reports, analytics and dashboards that reveal process capabilities, compliance with practices, and project trajectories toward scheduled milestones."

"SourceIQ delivers an integrated, consistent view of software projects across the enterprise, giving managers the metrics and analytics they need for governance across globally distributed software development teams," said Michael Loria, vice president of business development, IBM Rational Software. "The integration of SourceIQ Enterprise Server with IBM Rational Team Concert further demonstrates SourceIQ's commitment to working with IBM to provide our customers with a truly collaborative experience within their development teams to ensure effective governance throughout the entire software development and delivery process."

"With SourceIQ's deep integration with IBM Rational ClearCase, IBM Rational ClearQuest and now IBM Rational Team Concert, we are able to offer customers a seamless, consistent metrics perspective on critical projects and teams, regardless of which IBM Rational solution they use. And for those development organizations who are new to the IBM Rational portfolio of offerings and are considering a move to IBM Rational Team Concert, our integration with other leading SCM solutions ensures that they too can continue to leverage the unique and powerful capabilities of their change management infrastructures from current state through any planned migration," said Charlie Hubbard, VP Sales of SourceIQ.

SourceIQ is an Advanced IBM Partner, and will be demonstrating its IBM Rational Team Concert integration at the IBM Rational Software Development Conference 2008 in Orlando, Florida this week.
