World Master Watercolor Artist Pomm Hepner Helps Millions with her Peaceful Art

"Unspoken Courage" has become the official 9/11 tribute painting. It now hangs in over 35 Fire Stations in New York City and Manhattan.

Studio City, CA (PRWEB) June 3, 2008 -- Pomm traveled to New York and presented her masterpiece, "Unspoken Courage" to the New York City Fire Department.

One print of "Unspoken Courage" now hangs at the NYFD headquarters and another hangs at the training academy on the three-story Memorial Wall which is a tribute to the 9/11 NYFD fallen heroes. Plaques of the deceased firefighters surround "Unspoken Courage". As Pomm's painting is the only piece selected for this memorial, "Unspoken Courage" has become the official 9/11 tribute painting.

A week following the September 11th tragedy, Pomm traveled to New York City assist with the relief efforts. Inspired by this experience, after seeing such dedication and bravery around her at every turn, she resolved to pay tribute to these courageous heroes in the best way she could, through her art. Thus, "Unspoken Courage" was born.

"I painted this painting from my heart," the artist says. "I wanted people to see that courage, honor and unity are the virtues that have been born from such a tragic event and that we should continue to strengthen them."

During the years following 9/11, Pomm made many trips presenting gifts of the print, "Unspoken Courage" to the New York City Fire Dept. Pomm wanted to let the fireman and their families know their actions are truly valued and to acknowledge the daily heroism of those rescue workers.

"Unspoken Courage" now hangs in over 35 Fire Stations in New York City and Manhattan. It represents courage and unity for all. It honors bravery beyond expectation.

"This is truly an honor. Unspoken Courage pays homage to the 343 brave firefighters who gave their lives on Sept 11, 2001. Men and women of all ages are touched by it, "explains Sherry Katz, Studio Director of Pomm's Art Studio in Studio City, California. "People come to the studio just to enjoy the ambience of Pomm's art. I have never seen so much persistent admiration of any artist's work. It's amazing! "
