Lid/Stir, a Unique Paint Stirring and Storage Tool, Provides a Clean and Easy Alternative for Paint Mixing, Dispensing and Storage
New one-of-a-kind product helps homeowners and professionals take the mess out of stirring and storing cans of paint.
Canton, MI (PRWEB) June 4, 2008 -- Better Way Tool Company, a paint-tool company based out of Canton, Mich., has introduced a new paint mixing, dispensing and storage system called the Lid/Stir, which allows paint to be mixed, poured and stored in one-gallon cans with a simple and mess-free technique.
The Lid/Stir works as a clean and easy alternative to stir sticks by forcing paint to the top from the bottom of any one-gallon can with its unique paddles and 14 specially positioned holes. The Lid/Stir system retails for $12.99 and is manufactured in the U.S.A. in Plymouth, Mich.
The Lid/Stir mixing system works by attaching to any one-gallon paint can and stirs with the power from a common drill or kitchen mixer. After 15 seconds of mixing, paint is thoroughly mixed and ready to pour from the system's drip-free spout. The system can then be washed and used again on another paint can.
The Handyman Club of America has awarded the Lid/Stir 90 percent full member recommendation after it tested and approved over 400 Lid/Stir systems.
"As a consumer, I disliked the messiness that resulted from mixing and storing paint," co-founder Dave Stott said. "So we created this product as a solution to that problem and to make painting a more convenient and simple process for our consumers."
Lid/Stir systems are available at Sears Hardware Stores and at www.lidstir.com.
Better Way Tool Company, LLC was founded in 2006 by Breck Waggoner and Dave Stott. Headquartered in Plymouth, Mich., all components of the Lid/Stir system are made in USA. Better Way Tool makes do-it-yourself products for home improvement purposes.
