- What: Non-denominational communion and prayer. SEAL America is not a political organization, and it does not aim to directly influence legislation, but is campaigning for National Communion for the year 2008. Sacramento is the nineteenth stop in a nationwide schedule, which culminates in Washington D.C. in December.

- Why: "God is calling American Christians, of every age and of every kind, to historic communion gatherings. We are meeting outdoors, at the State Capitols, from sea to shining sea. We will humble ourselves and plead the Blood of the Lamb; for we believe in the mercy of God -- to forgive, to heal our hearts, and to seal our land," said a SEAL America spokesperson.
