Baxa Corporation has been named a finalist for the 3rd annual Best Companies to Work for in Colorado competition. Baxa has participated all three years, since the contest's inception, and each time has achieved finalist standing. Finalists are chosen based on responses to employee surveys sent by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). The awards program honors Colorado companies that demonstrate dedication to employee growth and quality of life. Modeled after Fortune magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work for in America", the statewide program is the only one of its kind in Colorado.

The annual Best Companies competition recognizes finalists in two categories: medium-sized companies (25-199 employees) and large-sized companies (200 employees or more). With more than 400 employees worldwide, Baxa is considered a large-sized employer. As part of the competition, all ranking companies are evaluated by the Best Companies judging committee for the long-term benefits they provide to Colorado.
