When completed, The Dunes will consist of 270 luxurious, two-family homes located on the beach, all with income-producing rental units.
Jericho, NY (PRWEB) June 5, 2008 -- Benjamin Beechwood, LLC, the developer of the master-planned community, Arverne by the Sea in the Rockaways, is hosting a grand opening the weekend of June 14-15 to introduce its newest neighborhood -- The Dunes. When completed, The Dunes will consist of 270 luxurious, two-family homes located on the beach, all with income-producing rental units.
Three brand new, fully-furnished models will be showcased: the East Hampton, Freeport and Grand Bahama. The models range from 2,225 square feet to nearly 3,000 square feet. Private roof terraces are available on most units.
The developer is offering pre-construction pricing, starting from $559,000. Amenities include 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, wall-to-wall carpeting, oak railing on stairs and raised-panel colonial interior doors.
"New and exciting things are happening this summer," said Benjamin Beechwood executive Gerard Romski. "We are looking forward to construction of the new YMCA Center." The 30,000-square-foot YMCA Center will feature a fitness center and indoor pool. Commuter service via New York Water Taxi recently began between Riis Landing in the Rockaways, Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. "This will make it more convenient for our residents to shorten their commutes to work," he added.
The Dunes is the largest of six neighborhoods in Benjamin Beechwood's 2,300-home, Arverne By The Sea master-planned development, set on 127 acres. Three of the neighborhoods are sold out, and The Breakers neighborhood is 90 percent sold.
