Women's Custom Suit Business Hosts its Inaugural Salon-Style Event.

Ms. Verbrigghe had an epiphany one evening as a graduate student was being fitted for a custom suit she planned to wear to a finance interview and an investment banking managing director arrived for a measuring appointment. "Not only should I introduce these women to one another," she thought, "but how many more of our customers could benefit from meeting other women in the network?"

Moi-Meme held the first "Showing in the Showroom" event -- a summer-themed wine tasting -- on June 26. The company invited members of its mailing list, which includes attorneys, Wall Street financiers and media professionals. Kristyn Clement, a director at The Knot, Inc. and a guest at the inaugural event observed, "What a fantastic idea… not only do we get a sneak peek into a much needed custom women's suit line but we get to sample fabulous wines in the process.
