IsACatch.com differs from traditional online dating in two distinct ways.
1. Friends, or "Campaign Contributors," provide the content, pictures, and details to describe the single catch. Naturally, the singleton has approval over the final profile or "Campaign for Love."
2. The Campaign Contributors search and recommend potential dates to their eligible friends.

IsACatch.com was conceived by a group of friends who wanted to create a dating site for their friend, Keyvan. But they decided to take it one step further. The concept behind it was simple and made sense to all of them: they had a lot of single friends who were fed up with poor results from Match and eHarmony or who could take advantage of online dating but weren't going to muster up the courage to do it themselves. They wanted to create a new way to find dates so they created a site where they'd leverage the power of the people who know them best - their friends.
