Hyland Software, Inc., developers of the OnBase® enterprise content management (ECM) software suite, recently awarded DataBank, a national full-service provider of imaging and information solutions, their Platinum Award for outstanding sales achievement and their Diamond Award for exceptional customer service and support at Hyland's 2008 Team OnBase Conference held in Tampa, Florida.

Dick Aschman, DataBank's CEO, noted; "The Platinum Award is the highest honor bestowed by Hyland on their reseller partners. Only six companies received the award for their 2007 sales performance so we are very pleased to be among this group.

"The investments we made in our people and technology and our ability to deliver cost-effective document management services and solutions were major factors in businesses selecting DataBank as their solution provider. Their confidence in our ability to deliver led to a 300% increase in OnBase sales, both as an end-user solution as well as through our web-hosted document management solution; DataBank Online Services." DataBank was also recognized for being the #1 OnBase Online reseller - the partner with the most U.S. customers.

"As companies react to a challenging economy they are finding web-hosted applications are an ideal way to implement document management solutions that achieve business process improvements without having to invest in hardware and software" added Dick Aschman. "DataBank is focused on the customer and provides end-to-end solutions that meet their business requirements. OnBase provides industry-specific modules and workflow processes that can be matched with our document conversion services for a solution with a meaningful return on investment."

DataBank was also recently featured in a case study prepared by Digitech Systems. DataBank implemented consistent business practices at all their facilities. "We needed to take a closer look at our productivity and provide services in a uniform manner across our production centers nationally," said Chuck Bauer, COO. "We wanted to identify one platform that was superior and we needed to standardize our conversion services business around it.

"With significant growth, we have saved a million dollars in labor costs, improved productivity, and enhanced quality. Consistency and the reliability of operations have enabled all of our production offices to process one billion images per year through our implementation of Digitech's capture products."

Recently DataBank was featured in a national case study prepared by Verizon Business who provided strategic IT resources as part of DataBank's infrastructure improvements aimed at delivering to the most challenging customer requirements while at the same time achieving high speed data transfers with a high degree of security. The Verizon Business solution includes Private IP WAN Management, Managed Firewall, Data Center co-location, Hosted IP Centrex, and Site Services. Data warehousing was consolidated and replicated for more efficient and redundant data storage and retrieval.

The upgrade has positively affected business processes and IT efficiency. In fact, with Databank's SAS 70 Type II and PCI certifications, the Company has introduced a level of security, compliance, and disaster recovery on which DataBank clients can depend.

Chad VanNorman, DataBank's CIO, said, "Our job is to deliver world-class information and document management solutions which delight our clients; and these improvements to our infrastructure and processes support that effort."
