DVKA will use Process360 to automate and streamline the processing of health insurance claims and to ensure rapid response to ever-changing European Union (EU) insurance regulations.
DKVA acts as the clearinghouse for all invoices and correspondence relating to health insurance claims governed by healthcare funding regulations between Germany and all other member states of the EU. The Process360 deployment enables DVKA to reduce the time and cost associated with processing claims and obtaining settlements, gain visibility into the progress of each claim, manage the complex rules governing payment and respond rapidly to EU governmental legislation changes.
In 2007, DVKA processed 1.2 million invoices with total reimbursements reaching €660 million (Euros). Prior to deploying Process360, DVKA's invoice processing was very time consuming, with approximately 5-10% being disputed and requiring complex investigation into claim validity and payment amounts. Moreover, the EU is constantly updating legislation and concluding agreements with non-EU countries, which require DVKA to respond quickly without disrupting existing service levels.
