Originally designed and still available as a stand-alone product, the highly interactive web-based training system provides key members of automotive service departments with easy 24/7 access from any computer in the world. With an aim to increase customer satisfaction survey scores, customer paid hours per repair order, customer retention and overall productivity, it takes the guesswork out of training and long-term learning by allowing dealers to identify the individual needs of each of its employees through a built-in testing mechanism.
Now in combination with the company's on-your-drive-training and workshops, the online training reinforces what was just learned in person. Each trainee receives a password, which is valid for 72 hours after the conclusion of the on-your-drive or workshop training. After that period, a Pro Talk trainer sends a report detailing who was in attendance, what each individual learned and what they still need to work on. The training system can then be further used in-house, if the dealer prefers, so individuals and management can work on the areas where they still need help.
"Alone the results of our virtual system are impressive, averaging an initial increase in customer-paid labor sales of $40 per repair order," said Jeff Cowan, founder of Pro Talk. Pricing for the Online Interactive Accountability System in combination with the on-your-drive-training and workshops starts at $195 per month and is based on the number of participants.
The system's online platform includes live reporting on all user in-progress and completed training, management control over user access and passwords, training reports by team, and training reports for multiple dealership locations by district, regions and/or on a national level. Content, which ranges from three minutes to three hours and covers countless topics, is updated monthly.
