Eric Eaton is a senior SharePoint engineer and instructor. He has more than a decade of experience in network design, implementation and administration. Brooke Hyde is a senior MOSS consultant. Prior to joining SharePoint Solutions, Hyde worked as the information technology manager for Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) in Nashville, Tenn., where she was responsible for all the day-to-day operations and system administration of the information technology department. While at SCRI, she spearheaded the implementation of a SharePoint extranet that allowed collaboration between the institute and its business partners. Hyde graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in management information systems and from Middle Tennessee State University with an MBA. She is a Microsoft-certified SharePoint engineer.
Walt Micksch is Internet marketing manager. Micksch spent much of the past 30 years overseeing and developing technical and operation solutions for Nukote International, where he held several management positions in quality, operations and technology.
Peter Roth is sales manager for the software division. He has more than 10 years of experience from the professional software industry focusing on information retrieval, knowledge management and SharePoint connectivity. He has helped provide business-critical solutions to clients including Cargill, Fair Isaac, Bosch, Burger King, Conoco Phillips, Continental Airlines and many others. Janice Thorne is a SharePoint instructor and consultant. She is currently responsible for conducting public training classes in the Seattle office of SharePoint Solutions. She was previously a SharePoint administrator and trainer for Chart Industries in Cleveland, Ohio. She was heavily involved in the company's rollout of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and subsequently the upgrade to MOSS 2007. In addition to SharePoint technologies, she also has expertise in Windows Rights Management, Microsoft CRM and various business intelligence technologies.
