Many people have a desire to help others however a large majority of them either don't know where to start, or simply don't have enough money to help. Surveys For Rice has come up with an innovative new way to help. Anyone can go to the site and complete an offer resulting in food being delivered to those who cannot afford to feed themselves. For anyone interested, the site can be found at http://www.surveysforrice.com.
Developed by college students, Surveys For Rice was created to give those with little disposable income a way to help with little expense to themselves. Visitors can choose between various surveys and offers each clearly specifying the amount of rice that will be donated upon completion.
Although the site is relatively new it has already gotten many good reviews. A user from New York stated "This is a great way for me to help, especially since most offers cost me nothing at all."
Many surveys are from major companies like Home Depot or Maybelline. Also available are subscription offers from Blockbuster and Netflix which often generate the most income. On average each completed survey will get two ounces or rice to countries like Myanmar, Nepal, and Niger.
The creators of Surveys For Rice have also developed Movies For Rice. This site allows visitor to sign up for a subscription to Blockbuster generating enough income to donate six pounds of rice per approved subscription. Income generated is donated through UN World Food Program.
