The Supermarkets Throw Themselves to the Conquest of the Every Day More Demanding Internet Users
Every day more supermarkets and big department stores decide to take advantage of the net to offer their users useful services or news, that contribute tangible benefits, as much for current users as for potential clients.

According to data provided by google trends, the search for the keyword "supermarket online" rose in the beginning of 2007 and have been rising ever since.

HiperDino is one of the most popular supermarkets in the Canary Islands with a total of 126 establishments in 5 islands (Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Palma), while SuperSol counts with numerous supermarkets located mainly in Andalusia, Badajoz, Ceuta, Melilla and Madrid.
For the same reason the both supermarkets have decided to translate their web site in English, to facilitate the shopping for the millions of tourists that visit every year the areas where the both supermarkets has a big presence.
But this is not an exception; other chains are also doing it very well. This is the reason of the successful strategy online that Spanish chains like Muebles Rey, with their campaign "El rey contra el crisis" (the king against the crisis) or the creativity of the football touch like Media Markt or Milar electrical appliance have given their campaigns / websites when associating them with the Spanish football club.
All this for satisfying the Internet user, who is everyday more demanding and closer to his favorite labels.
