Lessors Network set to Showcase A-List of Independent Equipment Lease & Finance Companies July 30th

Attendees with transactions and portfolios available for funding will pitch deals to funding source representatives in the Real Deal Showcase.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 9, 2008 -- On July 30 the Lessors Network (www.lessors.com) will open its annual equipment leasing and finance showcase from the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead hotel in Atlanta, GA. This year the Lessors Network will showcase privately held independent lease finance companies and an exclusive group of funding sources seeking to originate business in the wholesale markets.

General Session Presentations

Stuart Papavassiliou, Senior Editor for the equipment leasing industry's leading trade publication, Monitor, will deliver the keynote address. Mr. Papavassiliou will present the results of the Monitor's recent survey of privately held independents, ranking the top 25 companies and sharing insights into the business dynamics driving these entrepreneurs.

The Lessors Network has also invited special guest speaker Barry S. Marks from Marks & Weinberg, P.C. to speak on "Structuring Syndications: A Fair and Balanced View". Mr. Mark's presentation will cover (1) Types of Syndications (Sales, Discounting and Participations), when they are best used and some common issues and exposures; (2) Recourse issues such as reps and warrants, UNL's, buybacks and indemnities; and (3) Residual support. Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance for Mr. Marks to address during his presentation.

General Session Presentations will also feature a list of alternating industry executives introducing their companies and providing overviews of their markets, credit cultures and funding/investment strategies enabling Attendees in the audience to easily identify and evaluate prospective new origination and/or funding channels.

The Real Deal Showcase

At the end of the day, the Real Deal Showcase, a casual networking forum where people are invited from the audience to the microphone to briefly describe deals they have available for funding, facilitates matching the sellers with the buyers attending this event.
