Monroe, N.C. (Lexis Nexis/PRWEB ) July 10, 2008 -- Two of Union County's leading family law attorneys have merged their practices, forming Stepp Lehnhardt Law Group, P.C., a general practice law firm with special emphasis on the full range of family law matters.

Donna Stepp, a former prosecutor in North Carolina who opened her practice in Monroe in 1998, and Dana Lehnhardt, a Monroe native who has been practicing locally since 1999, are both highly regarded attorneys who handle a variety of divorce, child custody, family law and criminal defense cases. Ms. Stepp is a board-certified specialist in family law and Ms. Lehnhardt is a board-certified family financial mediator.

The two women have been co-owners of the downtown Monroe office building in which their office is located for the past three years. As their practices experienced independent growth, they began to realize that their clients would be better served by integrating their staffs and operations.
