Out of disbelief she started to seek out the opinions of 7 different specialists, only to be told the same thing, she was infertile. According to Sawyer, it is extremely efficient at keeping infant's heads warm because angora rabbit fur is hollow, which allows warm air to be trapped inside each angora strand that makes up the yarn, therefore the hat then retains the heat from the baby's own head.
