A Trio of Top Award Nominations for Kwik Fit Insurance

Leading insurance intermediary short-listed for three National Business Awards for Scotland.

(PRWEB) July 15, 2008 -- Kwik Fit Insurance has been short-listed for three prestigious titles at the National Business Awards for Scotland 2008.

The Uddingston-based insurance intermediary supplying car, breakdown, motorcycle, travel, pet and home insurance is in the running for the Danwood Growth Strategy of the Year Award and the Denholm Customer Focus Award, with Managing Director Martin Oliver short-listed for the Logica Leadership Award.

The Awards recognise and reward business excellence, innovation and success and are open to organisations of all sizes from across the country.

The Glasgow based company operating has launched a series of innovative plans in recent years which have contributed to its success at the Awards.

One such measure is their recently launched Smart Company scheme, which looks at new ways of keeping customers happy. Each Smart Company customer has one point of contact at Kwik Fit Insurance, meaning that every time they call they will speak to the same person and an ongoing relationship is cultivated. The scheme, while still in its relative infancy, is proving to be a great success with staff and customers alike.

Managing Director Martin Oliver has been key in the company's 'Making KFI a fantastic place to work' programme which has ushered in measures such as a chill-out room with games consoles and pool tables, a healthy living club offering massage and a range of exercise classes, on-site gym and beautician, a state-of-the-art onsite nursery, a revolutionary new restaurant and an in-house concierge.

Kwik Fit Insurance celebrated at last year's ceremony after picking up the Employer of the Year award. The company also continues to feature in the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For, being named 'most improved company' for 2008.
