Peter Godsiff has devoted a lifetime to sports journalism, mainly in the West Country, He covered a variety of sports, including Gloucestershire and Somerset cricket, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers football and Bath and Bristol rugby for the Bristol Evening Post, best known as Bristol City correspondent for 25 years. After spending 12 years as Sports Editor of the Post, the largest daily paper in the West, he set up his own agency exclusively to cover golf. He is a member of the Association of Golf Writers, edits South West Golfer, is the regional correspondent for the English Golf Union's English Club Golfer publication, acts as press officer or the West and Wales Region of the Professional Golfers Association and contributes to a number of newspapers, in particular the Bristol Evening Post and Western Daily Press. He lives in the Chew Valley between Bath and Bristol.
