As one of the original podcast destination sites, Odeo today announced the relaunch of its flagship website, http://odeo.com. Completely redesigned and managed under a new development team, Odeo now features millions of online syndicated audio and video episodes aggregated from thousands of websites. Users can search and discover over 500,000 channels, browse by category or keywords, subscribe to content, create playlists and get custom recommendations.
"With so many sources of syndicated content online, our team set out to create a simplified media experience that really helps users find and manage quality content,” said Rick Arturo, President of Sonic Mountain, the parent company of Odeo. "The result is an improved Odeo experience that still retains what the original team envisioned, while adding the most requested features of video and enhanced search."
