Sunny empowers the customer to make their environment their own in exceptional ways. It is an exciting time in the Sunny's Goodtime brand and POGAN is thrilled to be part of the brand's future

Richmond-based decorative art business today formally announces the company's re-launch of the brand, Sunny's Goodtime. Sunny's Goodtime, best known for its assortment of paints, stencils, painting tools, training programs and consulting services, has recently partnered with POGAN Consulting to assist in taking the brand to a larger audience while optimizing the company's already successful business model. "Sunny empowers the customer to make their environment their own in exceptional ways. It is an exciting time in the Sunny's Goodtime brand and POGAN is thrilled to be part of the brand's future," says Don Jones, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of POGAN Consulting.

The cornerstone of Sunny's business, decorative painting services, has allowed her to creatively evolve the brand to related entities. "We plan to leverage the strength of her creativity and business ideas while laying the foundation for the strategic integration of core services and products nationally," comments Jennifer Kehoe Fagan, President and Chief Operating Officer of POGAN Consulting. By fall of 2008, Sunny's Goodtime will launch the "Sunny Certified" team and introduce a new store concept in her Flagship Studio.

The timing also coincides with the release of her second book in the "Paint Can!" series. Sunny's "Paint Can!" series of how-to books, and her web site http://www.SunnyGoode.com, have further helped demystify her techniques. Sunny has opened the doors to the decorative art world, sharing information with anyone who desires an update, change, customization or reinvention of a room through color and design. In her second book "Paint Can! Children's Rooms Patterns and Projects for Colorful Creative Spaces" she includes paint basics and illustrated "You Can Do It!" sections to assist the reader.

Sunny is expanding her decorative paint services to include a team of trained decorative artists, the "Sunny Certified" team. "The decorative arts have always been full of trade secrets and an air of exclusivity," says Goode. "My mission is not to take away from that, but to help anyone learn what exactly goes into decorative painting." The "Sunny Certified" team is the mid-tier within a three tier decorative painting service strategy: Customers can hire Sunny herself, a "Sunny Certified" artist, or do the work themselves by utilizing the "You Can Do It!" information Sunny provides on her website, in her "Paint Can!" book series, and in her Flagship Studio. This strategy allows someone to work within their budget while fulfilling their dreams of a new, customized look in their home. Decorative Artists around the country will be able to apply to be part of the "Sunny's Certified " team in the fall of 2008 when more details on the program are available.

Part of the evolution of her brand also includes a re-grand opening of her Flagship Studio in September 2008. Any customer who steps foot into Sunny's Richmond, Virginia Flagship will instantly be inspired by color, texture, stenciled graphics, and unique accents displayed in her front of house showroom. Back of house is reserved for work and training space where Sunny and her partner, Lucy Ackerly, have worked together since 2003. The store will feature Sunny's newest ideas, painting techniques and products. The Flagship presentation and Sunny's website, http://www.SunnyGoode.com, will change seasonally to reflect Sunny's inspirations and continue the flow of ideas and information sharing with the community.
