New online social network for pets and pet owners. Connect with other pet lovers around the world and share stories, photos, comments, and videos. Find other pets and pet owners in your area.

Many of the current social networks for pets are designed for just dogs or cats. We are here for pets of all kind

Online social network, Pet of Mine, gives pet lovers a new way to share information about their pets and themselves. The newly launched social network allows users to connect with other pet lovers across the world to share stories, photos, comments and entertaining videos on their furry, and even not-so-furry, animal companions.

"This site is unique because it is not just a place to display pet profiles. It allows pet owners to have personal profiles as well," says Suzanna Alexander, owner of "People can meet other people like themselves who take a special interest in animals."

After a quick registration process, people can add an unlimited number of pet profiles in association with their owner account. Users can then begin acquiring friends, and their pets can acquire friends as well. Looking for other pet owners in your area? The website allows for people to search for pets and pet owners by location to make friends, share tips and stories, and even coordinate pet play events. Looking for a particular breed or animal type? The site's search tools offers a comprehensive search of the site users to connect with each other based on key words.

Even non-traditional pets are welcomed on, like Gandy the Island crab, or JD the corn snake, a couple of the network's newest members. "Many of the current social networks for pets are designed for just dogs or cats. We are here for pets of all kind," says Alexander.

With unique features such as the ability to tell stories, write on friend's walls, and upload pet videos for the chance to become a featured video or user of the site, has raised the bar with the interactivity of its user base. In describing her vision for the pet-focused network Alexander explains, "This is like Facebook for pets and pet owners. We plan on incorporating additional features in the future as the site grows."

You don't need to own a pet to join and membership is free. You can create a profile and begin connecting with pets and pet owners today at
