In July 2008, the United Nations Chinese Language Program (UNCLP) selected HNHSoft's English-Chinese Talking Dictionary as its official teaching tool. UNCLP trains UN staff and diplomats who serve in China and other Asian countries. Director of the UNCLP Yong Ho, Ph.D., said, "Our Program chose HNHSoft's product over others after extensive research. We found that the Dictionary's contents are comprehensive and authoritative." Mr. Yong Ho is also Executive Director of the Chinese Language Teachers Association of Greater New York.

HNHSoft was co-founded by Song Han and Wei Huang in Burlington, MA. HNHSoft has an R&D office in Beijing, China. Mr. Han recently said, "I am pleased and honored to work with the United Nations. It is gratifying to know that we are contributing to the UN's global humanitarian efforts by bringing cutting-edge voice and mobile technologies to their language teaching programs."

The Talking Dictionary is affordable and innovative language translation and reference software that loads onto handheld mobile devices. The Dictionary is compatible with a wide array of mobile devices, Smart Phones, and PDAs. Each dictionary contains over 90,000 entries and over 120,000 translations. Available in six languages: English-Chinese, English-English, English-French, English-German, and English-Spanish, the Talking Dictionary enables users to learn the pronunciation of words or phrases phonetically, see them written in the appropriate alphabet, and also to hear them pronounced in the natural voices of real people. The natural-sounding voice helps travelers to pronounce words correctly and makes communication easier in foreign countries. The five European language dictionaries are the result of collaboration between HNHSoft and the publishers of the famous Larousse dictionaries in France.

HBHSoft also offers Talking Phrase Books, a language translation software product that is available in ten languages. Talking Phrase Books supports Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone, BlackBerry, Java enabled smart phones, and Palm OS.
