The upgrade streamlines the claim process and offers on-demand tracking of claim status. The changes will help expedite payments of Physical Damage claims and will inform policyholders of key transactions that have occurred during the claim process.

Claim reporting has been improved by applying web based automation to the process. The Insured Statement of Loss package, which includes the insured explanation of the claim, can be delivered electronically and entered on-line. Additionally, all requests and documentation related to the damage appraisal process have been automated and web enabled.

Web based Claim Tracking displays a complete log of events related to each claim. Claim events that are tracked include: Date when an Insured Statement of Loss was emailed; Date and name of the appraisal company sent to estimate the damage; Date when the police report is received; Dates when the appraisal is received, reviewed, and approved, and Payment Date. Also, images of the actual appraisal and vehicle damage can be viewed on-line once payment has been approved.
