Hot in Hollywood, a charity event raising money and awareness to fight HIV/Aids, is excited to announce the addition of T.R. Knight of ABC's hit show Grey's Anatomy to this year's list of cast. Last years event boasted such unique performances as Jerry O'Connell singing in a dress, Sara Ramirez crooning a soulful power ballad, the cast of Heroes singing "Let The Sunshine In" for the finale and after her performance, America Ferrera won a Prius in the auction. Additional participation and attendance also included cast members of Entourage, The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Notes from the Underbelly, House, ER and My Name is Earl.
This year's event will take place on Saturday, August 16th at The Avalon in Hollywood and will be held in honor of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which offers a customized recreational vehicle that travels throughout Los Angeles County to reach the underserved populations with HIV/Aids education, testing, counseling, and treatment referral services, along with the second beneficiary of the night, Real Medicine Foundation, which provides humanitarian support to people living in disaster, post-war, and poverty stricken areas.
Illuminating the stage at this years event will be the host for the evening, Emmy and Golden Globe winner America Ferrera of Ugly Betty, Emily Deschanel and Eric Millegan from Bones, Linda Cardellini and Parminder Nagra from E.R., Glenn Howerton of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Sophina Brown from Numbers, and Nadine Velazquez from My Name is Earl. Receiving the first annual Hot in Hollywood award for service is previous host, Jaime Pressly .
