Fashion Week San Diego: Tickets on Sale Now

Tickets are on sale for the world's only bi-national fashion week event.

San Diego (PRWEB) July 18, 2008 -- Tickets are now on sale for the world's only bi-national fashion week. Fashion Week San Diego will take place in a 20,000-square-foot tent on San Diego Bay Sept. 28 - Oct. 5, 2008. The event will highlight the fashion culture that exists in the region, featuring designers from the US and Mexico.

"This is an industry professional event, but we really wanted to open it up to the public as well," explains Allison Andrews, president of Fashion Week San Diego. "We have released a limited number of tickets for the general public because I feel that the fashion enthusiasts are just as much a part of the industry as a fashion editor, a buyer or a boutique owner."

The event will consist of seven days of fashion shows, daytime entertainment and glamorous after-parties. The finale show will be followed by an all-night party inside the tent with DJs and performers taking the runway. The following day, the tent will be transformed into the ultimate trunk show, featuring a plethora of high-end designers.

Only a limited number of tickets are being released to the general public, with the rest reserved for industry professionals. Fashion enthusiasts interested in catching this first glimpse at the Spring 2009 lines should visit https://fashionweeksd.tix.com to purchase tickets now.

Single day passes are available for $37 ($50 for the finale); three-day passes are available for $90 - $100; week passes are available for $200; VIP passes, which allow you seating in the front three rows at every show, a hosted bar in the tent during all fashion shows, VIP entrance into all after parties and exclusive opportunities to network with the fashion industry, are available for $400. Tickets for the in-tent shopping event are $15, with proceeds benefiting the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation.
