The article, titled "Benefits Power Brokers: Disability" profiles Cotter and how he got into the industry. Cotter wanted to help employers in small to mid-markets keep healthcare costs under control through wellness programs. "To accomplish this, he needed to provide human resource departments with the support they needed to design, implement and run a program, and offer a way for fully insured/pooled employers to benefit financially," wrote Human Resources Executive staff writers.
