Elanex, Inc. announced that Rolf Hecken, a seasoned bilingual translation industry manager, has joined as General Manager of Canada, expanding the company's North American presence.

To his new role, he brings nearly 20 years of experience in translation and localization industry services, along with deep expertise in translation-related technologies.
Fluent in both German and English, Rolf has deep experience in the Canadian market, ranging from small to extremely large-scale organizations. He has also worked in the automotive and technology sectors, so brings a strong focus on solution building, processes and quality assurance to our team. In addition, Rolf founded or held senior executive positions in several successful service companies.
Previously, as Vice President of Marketing and Technologies for Able Translations Ltd, Rolf increased customer retention by 25% by leading and training a team of 15 people. As an owner and partner at Alpha Translations Canada, Inc., he focused on Project Management and Business Process improvements, developing and training qualified language resources to increase the production and sales processes every year for exceptional company growth. Rolf has also held manager positions in the automotive industry for example at BMW in the Canadian marketplace, at Nissan Motor Germany and Ford Werke AG in the European marketplace. He has lived in Canada for 15 years.
