RealGifts is the first service of its kind to give users the opportunity to exchange real, tangible gifts with their friends through a secure checkout that is integrated directly into the RealGifts application. A key feature is that users can quickly and conveniently send each other gifts without knowing their friends' mailing addresses, so no exchange of sensitive information is necessary.
RealGifts takes Facebook's popular virtual gifting application to a whole new level by making gifts real. A wrapped gift box icon appears on the recipient's profile, which later opens to reveal an image of the real gift and personal message once the real gift has been physically delivered in the mail.
Users can purchase dozens of competitively priced and unique items from leading retailers such as gourmet treats, bath and beauty products, and novelty items. More gifts are regularly being added, including an upcoming eco- and socially-conscious gifts section.
