This fall, golfers can take advantage of a legendary tournament taking place at the resort, the 36-hole Pro-Am Tom Watson Fall Golf Classic, being held September 7 - 10. The Greenbrier has enjoyed a strong relationship with championship golfer Tom Watson for more than 25 years, and this year, his tournament will allow guests the opportunity to celebrate the history and tradition of golf at The Greenbrier. The tournament will take place on two of The Greenbrier's three courses, the restored and award-winning Old White Course and the famed Greenbrier Course, which has hosted the International Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup matches. On September 8 and 9, guests will be given the opportunity to interact and learn from the legendary Tom Watson. Participants' accompanying guests, who are not as keen on playing, will find hours of entertainment in other recreational activities including fly-fishing, a shooting clinic at the resort's Gun Club or falconry and off-road driving classes.

Rates for the Tom Watson Fall Golf Classic start at $2,645 per person, which includes three nights' room accommodations. Players in the event will receive complimentary breakfast and lunch on tournament days, as well as unlimited use of the practice range. All green fees, golf car rentals, range balls, lockers, shoe and club cleaning, and golf bag storage are also included in the tournament, as well as private dining events and receptions which are held during the evenings for the participants and guests. For more information or to register for the tournament, call 800-908-0740 or visit http://www.greenbrier.com .
