IMS Launches New Identity Focused on Merchant Success
Westmont, IL (PRWEB) July 23, 2008
IMS, Inc. announced that CUT IT OUT, a national nonprofit organized as the Salons Against Domestic Abuse Fund, is the first nonprofit participating in IMS Cares™. The program was announced today.
IMS Cares gives salons that use IMS for debit and credit card transactions the opportunity to divert a percentage of the fees paid to IMS and donate them to CUT IT OUT. IMS keeps track of the funds and donates them on the salon's behalf.
"Through participating salon professionals, CUT IT OUT and IMS expect to consistently raise funds to fight the epidemic of domestic abuse nationwide," said Don Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of IMS.
"Working with IMS allows salons and their customers to break the cycle of domestic violence," said Dianne Mooney, co-founder of CUT IT OUT. "IMS Cares lets us broaden our educational efforts and spread the word to victims, survivors and to the public at large that there's no excuse for abuse."
Salons interested in signing up for the IMS Cares program to support CUT IT OUT can contact IMS at 800-213-1358 or go to http://www.ims.com.
