US Mobile Brain Trainer Market Growing by 18 Percent

The Smart Money is on Brain Trainers
Snapshot of the US Market for Mobile Brain Trainer Products: 2008-2013 Forecast.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 24, 2008 -- Ambient Insight today announced a new report called, "Snapshot of the US Market for Mobile Brain Trainer Products: 2008-2013 Forecast." According to the report, brain trainers are now the top selling handheld edugame type in the country.

"The growth rate is different, of course, for these mobile games in each of the eight buyer segments we are tracking," comments Chief Research Officer, Sam S. Adkins. "Interestingly, the verticals with the highest growth rates do not have the best long-term revenue potential."

This report provides five-year revenue forecasts and compound annual growth rates (CAGRs) for eight buyer segments. Further, it provides valuable insights into buying behavior, market catalysts and inhibitors, and barriers-to-entry for each buying segment. A supply-side analysis of the most successful games and business models is also included.

An overview of the report is available at: http://www.ambientinsight.com/Reports/BrainTraining.aspx

"I am pleased to announce the availability of our first 'snapshot report,'" said CEO Tyson Greer. "The snapshots are a new product line that we developed in response to customer feedback. The new format provides suppliers with highly-targeted, actionable data in a condensed format. Suppliers seeking to enter the mobile game market or vendors that are already competing in the mobile learning industry will find valuable business development data in this report."

Ambient Insight was the first analysis firm to publish market forecasts for mobile brain trainers in the October 2007 report called, "The US Market for Handheld and Mobile Game-based Learning Products: 2007-2012 Forecast and Analysis."

"One of the key findings we have found during our learning technology research over the last two years is that there is confusion in the market about the relationship and the difference between brain fitness applications and brain training games," adds Adkins. "This report clarifies the differences between the products."
