DisabilityInfo.gov and GovDelivery mark the 18th anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act

We are proud that more than eight million visitors, including nearly 27,000 people who have signed up for email subscriptions, have benefited from the information DisabilityInfo.gov offers.

DisabilityInfo.gov (http://www.DisabilityInfo.gov) and GovDelivery (http://www.govdelivery.com), the world's leading email and digital subscription services provider for the public sector, are marking the 18th anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act. Through GovDelivery, DisabilityInfo.gov has sent more than 2.7 million email messages regarding benefits, education, employment, housing and health.

DisabilityInfo.gov, a federal interagency portal managed by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy, uses GovDelivery to offer free subscription services. This allows users to sign up to receive DisabilityInfo.gov Connection, the site's quarterly newsletter, and other email alerts tailored to individual interests.

"DisabilityInfo.gov was launched almost six years ago as a resource for the nearly 50 million people with disabilities in the United States," said Kevin J. Connors, Program Director, U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy, on the 18th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. "We are proud that more than eight million visitors, including nearly 27,000 people who have signed up for email subscriptions, have benefited from the information DisabilityInfo.gov offers."
