Music123 Shoppers Go Crazy for the Newest Rocktron Effects Pedals Released at Summer NAMM

high-gain preamp and focused tone control allow for excellent enunciation and sustain.

Music gear retailer, Music123 announces the arrival of Rocktron's new guitar and bass effects pedals that were released at Summer NAMM 2008. The new pedals are consistent with Rocktron's solid reputation for delivering pedals loaded with features that provide a variety of sonic options. Among the new pedals are the Rocktron Utopia Series models that are lauded for their easy setup and operation. Guitarists can create a multitude of sounds with the Rocktron Utopia G200 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal, a professional-grade guitar effects system with 64 factory preset sounds and 64 user presets for a total of 128 preset guitar effects. Guitarists get the same 128 presets with the Rocktron Utopia G300 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal. Both the G200 and G300 have four channels, 4-band EQ, and full bandwidth effects giving musicians tools to create signature tones and dial in the right distortion, wah, tremolo, reverb, or delay. They provide USB and MIDI connectivity, a built-in tuner, and the preamp offers Up/Down preset banks.

Also new from Summer NAMM 2008 is the Rocktron Banshee 2 Talk Box, an effect that is plugged in like any common stompbox but has tubing that the musician runs up the microphone stand and into their mouth. Each word spoken delivers new sounds directly from the musician's guitar or keyboard. According to Guitar World Magazine, the Rocktron Banshee's "high-gain preamp and focused tone control allow for excellent enunciation and sustain." The Banshee Talk Box is one of the few talk boxes available with a built in amplifier and is one of only a handful on the market.
