Gumiyo, a leading mobile marketing platform provider for automotive, real estate and publishing, today announced the appointment of Eric Larson as company president. Larson brings more than 20 years of management, technology, wireless and automotive experience to his new position, where he will oversee Gumiyo's day-to-day operations, growth and new market expansion. He is the former president of 5square Systems, a leading venture capital backed, high growth automotive sales processes system provider.

Prior to joining Gumiyo, Larson served as president of 5square Systems, an industry leader of Web-based Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications for the auto retailing space. Larson lead all sales, support, product, marketing, and financial activities of the company. In July 2008, 5square assets were acquired by iMagicLab.
Larson has also held the position of senior vice president and CFO of Nomadix, Inc., a leading suppler to the Wi-Fi public Internet access market. In that role, he provided leadership, vision and strategic direction for the company during periods of significant growth and change. Additionally, he was responsible for all general and administrative functions of the company, including finance, legal, investor relations, IT, human resources, tax, treasury, and business development.
Before joining Nomadix, Larson spent nine years at Arthur Andersen L.L.P., where he served as an enterprise division manager. He specialized in audit and business consulting services for automotive, high technology and manufacturing companies ranging in size from start-ups to several billion dollars in annual sales.
