LGE Execs Announces Three New Members to its Team of Executive Operators

Marisa Co, Mark Farrar, and Denny Hamill Join LGE Execs to support the firm's work in Life Sciences, Nanotechnology, and Security.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 30, 2008 -- LGE Execs, an Austin based, global team of over 80 seasoned executives and operators formed to help companies and organizations grow and succeed, today announced the addition of three new members to its team of executives to support the firm's work in the fields of Life Sciences, Nanotechnology, and Security.

Marisa Co, former executive director of Global Development Finance for Amgen, Inc., joined LGE Execs as an adviser to support the firm's Life Sciences practice. Co brings to LGE Execs more than 20 years of operational experience in life science. Most recently Co worked for Amgen for more than 10 years where she served in director level positions in corporate strategy, U.S. sales and marketing, finance supporting research, preclinical development, global clinical development and medical affairs.

Mark Farrar, CISSP, joined LGE Execs as an associate partner in the firm's Security group with more than 26 years of general management and marketing experience, most recently serving as director of marketing for Verisign. Earlier, Farrar was the founder and CEO of Spontaneous Networks, Inc. Farrar has also served as vice president of business development with Verizon Business Net Sec and as regional vice president and general manager of telecoms-focused consultancy, Predictive Systems.

Denny Hamill joins LGE Execs as an adviser for the firm's Nanotechnology practice. Hamill currently serves as chairman of the board of directors for Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corp. (MCC) and as a board member of the Texas Nanotechnology Initiative, a Texas-based effort to establish the state as a world leader in the discoveries, development and commercialization of nanotechnology. Hamill also serves as vice president of corporate development for Energetic Materials & Products, Inc.
