Gift basket distributors http://www.NorthCountryGiftBaskets.com open their new blog, welcoming customers and providing shoppers with an avenue to further research and discuss products.

We are interested in providing the best products at the most reasonable prices, and if our customers want to request special types of baskets, we want to try to provide them with those additional product options.

Personal and corporate gift basket store North Country Gift Baskets has opened a new blog at http://www.GourmetGiftBasketsBlog.com to complement their site, allowing customers to interact with store operators and better understand the offerings and scope of the company.

"We'll be using the blog to talk about new gift basket ideas, and we welcome comments from any visitors to our site," says Betty Sokolosky, owner and operator of the site. "If any of our customers want to give feedback or want to request certain types of things, we welcome those comments on the blog."

The site has long focused on themed gift baskets, beginning with Thanksgiving and Christmas themes containing specialty items from the upper Midwest and moving on to more seasonally-oriented products. Gift baskets such as new baby baskets and birthday themed gift baskets are year-round, as are other items, and North Country Gift Baskets hope that their customers will use the new blog to communicate their own ideas. Says Betty, "We are interested in providing the best products at the most reasonable prices, and if our customers want to request special types of baskets, we want to try to provide them with those additional product options."

Plans are already in the works for new offerings at http://www.NorthCountryGiftBaskets.com, as the site is constantly growing and evolving. "We are going to add additional basket offerings in both styles and concepts, with more of an emphasis on the Upper Midwest," explains Betty. "We'll be looking at specialty products and food from the Twin Cities and Wisconsin."

In addition, North Country Gift Baskets.com will be expanding the gift basket varieties to offer hand-poured soy candles and hand lotions made from soybean plants. They are working with a Minnesota company, Kandiyohi Candle Company, which employs developmentally challenged people, and engages them in paid activities throughout the State of Minnesota. "We are honored to support the work of adults with developmental disabilities and provide an additional outlet for their products," says Betty.

North Country Gift Baskets encourages visitors to check out http://www.GourmetGiftBasketsBlog.com and contribute to the blog with their questions or comments, as well as viewing the new products available on http://www.NorthCountryGiftBaskets.com.
