Say goodnight to insomnia brought on by stress and anxiety, and let Mother Nature help you sleep like a baby with this soothing combination of music and nature photography from composer/therapeutic harpist Tami Briggs & nature photographer Patrick Murphy. Better than sleeping pills, "Invitation to Slumber" DVD is "an effective non-narcotic solution to sleepless nights."

Sterling Heart, Inc. announced today the release of their newest product, Invitation to Slumber -- Sights & Sounds for Rest & Relaxation DVD. Designed specifically for the sleep-deprived, award-winning photographer Patrick Murphy and composer/therapeutic harpist Tami Briggs teamed up to deliver this gentle journey into beauty and stillness to soothe stress and invite relaxation. The 20-minute movie is on a continuous loop so that no one has to be interrupted to turn it on or off.

Sleep experts suggest that preparing for bed is one of the best ways to ensure a good night's sleep for those with sleep disorders. Invitation to Slumber is perfect for creating a peaceful environment, signaling to the body that sleep is on its way.

In addition to individual insomniacs, healthcare organizations are finding that Invitation to Slumber is a relaxing addition to patient rooms, treatment rooms, waiting rooms, lounges and waiting areas. National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization recently added the DVD to its Marketplace catalog. Feedback on advance copies of the DVD have garnered amazing results of lowered blood pressure and reduced anxiety from both patients and nursing staff:

"I received Invitation to Slumber when I got home from work this afternoon and decided to try a little experiment before watching it: I took my blood pressure (138/78). I leaned back on the sofa with a comfy pillow and started to watch and listen. I could actually feel myself relaxing and the stress of the workday diminishing! After watching, I immediately checked my BP again and was surprised and pleased to see it had actually dropped substantially! (118/68). Can you imagine the possibilities for patients in the hospice or hospital setting? " - Linda P, RN, Virginia

Photographs of sky, clouds, water, mountains, oceans, trees and flowers from some of America's most beautiful locations including the Pacific coast, redwood forests, Mt. Shasta and the Adirondack Mountains were used in creating Invitation to Slumber. The photographs are relaxing, soothing, restful and easy on the eyes, and are set to a calming composition featuring harp, flute and violin.
