New low cost disposable eye cover, blindfold, sleep mask is now available for hospital patients who must endure the discomfort and sleeplessness caused by hospital lights that are never turned off in nearby halls and rooms. The same blindfolds fill the need doctors, nurses and MRI technicians have for low cost disposable hospital blindfolds.

Terry Weber of Originals By Weber announces immediate availability of a new low cost disposable blindfold for use by: hospital patients, doctors, nurses and MRI technicians.

The blindfold is made of lightweight non-toxic black foam with an adjustable elastic strap, one size fits all. The Weber Disposable Blindfold is lightweight, comfortable to wear and low in cost. There is no metal in the mask therefore, it can be worn during operations, MRI or Radiology examinations and as a "room darkening sleep mask" that lets all hospital patients get much better sleep during their stay at the hospital.

In addition, this Weber Disposable Blindfold Eye Mask is available in two unique models:

(1) A higher priced re-usable model with the optional extra benefit of easily replaced Tissue Liners (has 5 tissues) to keep the inside of the blindfold always clean and fresh for multiple users or when a single user wears the same blindfold repeatedly.

(2) Or, the lower cost plain disposable model (without the above Tissue Liners) is designed to be used once and discarded immediately.

When the model with the optional Tissue Pack is used, a technician can easily replace used tissues with a new Tissue Pack (5-tissues in each pack). These Tissue Liners are held in place on the inside of the mask, between the back of the mask and the skin of the patient's face. The replaceable Tissue Liners extend the usefulness of the mask when used by more than one patient.

When asked why hospital patients need blindfolds Weber replied, "All hospital patients know when they go to the hospital they will spend much time confined to a bed where they are expected to rest as they recover. But, because most of the hospital hallways and rooms have lights that are almost never turned off, patients have trouble sleeping. But, when they put on one of these comfortable, disposable blindfolds to 'darken the room,'" they can get better rest, their recovery can be much faster, and their time in the hospital more pleasant."

In addition, doctors and nurses as well as MRI and Radiology technicians will find these new Weber Disposable Blindfolds to be exactly what they have needed for a long time for the comfort of their patients during a variety of examinations. The low cost and special features of these no-metal, disposable blindfolds, with or without the optional Tissue Liners, are benefits appreciated by both the staff and the patients at many hospitals across the country.

Specifications: The material is soft, strong black foam about 1/8" thick (2mm thick, PVC, acid and latex free), a 3/16" wide adjustable elastic headband with plastic instead of metal fasteners to keep the mask firmly and comfortably in place.
